dusty, lathi - marjut

i met marjut in paris 2009. she and her collection for her men only label dusty stood out from the other exhibitors and caught my eye right away.
there's a funny story to our first meeting. before we went to see designers on the fair i told my friend who assisted me back then to pull me away everytime i would make the attempt to order something too wild or crazy for bob 10.5.10. exactly this happend when i discovered dusty! i was having a look through the collection and my friend was trying to pull me away all the time - each time i went back to the dusty stand she was like: "hon-tai! no!" ;)
the next day when i went to the fair again alone, i had a nice conversation with marjut and secretly ordered some beautiful styles from the ss10 collection, not knowing if the pieces would be too crazy for my customers or not.
finally marjut and all the beautiful dusty pieces turn out to be one of the most liked brands in my store! and i'm happy that bringing dusty to germany found such fantastic feedback from the fashioncrowd here!

petar petrov, vienna

i discoverd petar petrov in my friends showroom in paris. he was actually the first young label, that i found for bob 10.5.10 in 2008. i remember beeing flashed away when seeing his collection back then. as a graphic designer i very much appreciate his graphic approach in this work. i also got to meet petar petrov that same season and was delighted to be introduced to such a friendly, young man who - despite beeing said to be one of the most promising young talents in fashion - is open and very much down to earth. i always feel great when i wear a piece of his collection; simple but so well dressed with fantastic fabrics that feel heavenly on the skin. thanks for that petar!

the indidualists (former luise&franck), paris

one of my most popular brands are luise and franck from paris. from the first day we met till now this collaboration is quite a special one. talking about the pieces and beeing able to also influence design details makes it very special to me to work with luise&franck. the passion for quality in fabric and design is what we have in common and what makes us respect each other very much. it's always a special event when franck himself visits cologne and our shop bob 10.5.10 to show the new collection.
it's hard for me to get used to the new name the individualists though ;)

unconditional, london - philip stephens

unconditonal from london has it's loyal fanbase here at bob's. it's fantastic casualwear with just the right amount of sexyness and elegance. it's good to see how owner and designer philip stephens still takes care of every shop himself and gives great advice which pieces are the highlight of the current collection and suitable for bob 10.5.10

rené gurskov, kopenhagen

when i first saw rené gurskov's collection and especially his beautifuls scarfs i was so excited! although i never really liked all the bling bling sequins stuff i instantly knew i discovered a unique piece when the colorful and glamorous scarfs caught my eye. rené gurskov produces them in his own atelier in kopenhagen and only sells them in selected stores in europe and asia and bob 10.5.10 always has a wide selection of colors in the shop.
